Holding the Heart of Grief and Loss: A Gratefulness Gathering
Tuesday, September 24, 7- 8:30pm
“It is not happiness that makes us grateful. It is gratefulness that makes us happy.”~Brother David Steindl-Rast
Gratefulness Gatherings are an opportunity to cultivate communal spaces where we can explore grateful living as an orientation to life.
These take place where most effective communication is felt: in a live encounter with others. Through rich discussion and collective wisdom, Gratefulness Gatherings help inform and deepen our relationship with grateful living and usher it into the common lexicon. This is a profound opportunity to commune with others who care about deepening their understanding of and relationship with grateful living as an orientation to life.
This month's theme for our Gratefulness Gathering is, 'Holding the Heart of Grief and Loss.' The theme of each monthly gathering is listed below.
Each evening can be savored independently, and those who attend occasionally are as welcome as those who come each time. All adults are welcome. Gratefulness Gatherings are part of A Network for Grateful Living, which is a global organization founded by Brother David Steindl-Rast and that operates Gratefulness.org.
Seating is limited so register well in advance. A $5 non-refundable registration fee per session holds your seat and helps us provide the space, materials and snacks for this program. If you can’t contribute, please register and come anyway. We will find a way to make it work!
