What’s Happening Locally? with Jennifer Coyle and Joe Brown

Jennifer Coyle, from WMU’s Department of Education is in the Michigan Postsecondary Education and Employment Collaborative (mpe2c) Lead. Their focus is increasing postsecondary education and employment outcomes for young adults with intellectual disabilities.
Joe Brown is a Kalamazoo native who has spent a career in advanced manufacturing and engineering. Now, through Urban Alliance, he has helped launch a partnership with KRESA to provide vocational training for students with disabilities. Jennifer and Joe will share insights into local efforts to link young people with disabilities to meaningful work, which can be a source of accomplishment, belonging, and relationship.
All events are free but registration is required.
Our programs on 'Lives of Possibility' are offered through a partnership between Transformations and the John E. Fetzer Institute whose mission is: "Helping build the spiritual foundation for a loving world."
