“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” Howard Thurman
Do you wonder if you’re using your strengths and skills in the best possible way? Are you having trouble re-kindling the passion and joy that once drove you? Do you wish you felt more alive and engaged in the challenges facing the world?
In this one-day retreat, you’ll reflect on your unique strengths and values and how they form the foundation for your approach to life. You’ll listen for your own inner voice and consider the intersections between your passions and the world’s needs.
Before the retreat, you’ll complete the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment and receive your own unique results. During the retreat, you’ll reflect with others on your strengths, values and definitions of success, and how these characteristics might guide your contributions to the world.
Joan Hawxhurst is a Courage & Renewal® Facilitator-in-preparation, being prepared by the Center for Courage & Renewal, the organization founded by Parker J.
